have the money to fix it.

DH is on layoff this month...again. Yea that he still has a job, but these small expenses don't help the budget.

DH comes to pick me up for lunch, so we can run the arts supply store. DD has a science project due on 11/15, they were just given the assignment Wed afternoon. We have plans for every night the rest of this week and all weekend, so today was the only time. When I get out of the car, I notice that the rear passanger side tire looks like it's a bit flat, so I point it out to DH. He agrees that we'll need to stop and get some air.

We go in get what we need for DD's project, get out to the car and we both notice that it's a lot lower then it was before. Now, we just put new tires on the car in July and have only gone about 4329 miles on them. The place we got the tires is just up the road, less than a mile. We head up there, I call work and let them know what's going on.

Get to the tire place, they inspect it and they have to replace the whole thing. We do get credit for the prior purchase, but we still end up spending more, because they don't have the exact same tire we bought, plus they have to charge $14.99 for lifetime balance & valve for this one, even though back in July I had to buy it for a tire that only lasted 4,329 miles, plus the state required enviromental fee. If they had charged me the waste tire disposal fee that the sales guy said he'd waive for us...I think I would have blown a gasket.

OK....I feel better now.

 I know how you feel. When it rains, it pours. Good luck.
