I'm watching MSNBC now and I've never seen anything like the bombing that is going on. It's truly frightening, even just seeing it on tv. I feel so bad for the innocent citizens over there. I'm certainly praying for them as well as for our troops.

I support this action, but it's heartbreaking nonetheless. I hope that ******* is dead!

I'm sitting here crying, but I can't turn away. This is the scariest thing I've ever seen.

And they just announced that we've toned it down because we're in negotiations with senior Iraqi officials. I can't even imagine how bad it would have been.

We've destroyed over 25 bldgs in 10 minutes and the entire bank of the Tigris River is on fire.

I was watching it during lunch, and it really is an "awe". I really feel sorry for all the citizens of Baghdad. I hope it is over for them soon and they are liberated. I pray for all of our pilots who are flying these sorties. I pray they all come back safe and sound.

I hope they do surrender so that it will be easier for our soliders going into Baghdad.

There is a respite right now, Becka. The barrage lasted about 15 minutes or so, they said approximately 300 cruise missles were used on basically a presidential palace area. It was shocking to witness, Ican't believe being anywhere near it.

It was definitely upsetting to watch. I'm really glad my kids weren't around to see it. What amazed me is that you could still see cars going down the road like there was nothing going on. I can't imagine driving through that. I pray that this is over quickly and that all the troops return safely.

What I find truly amazing is what we can see of Baghdad from our sattelites! Amazing technology we have today. Of course they are saying that there are underground tunnels linking a lot of the buildings so the sob and others could still be alive. Even after these horrific attacks.

It was amazing how targetted it was. Even though a huge section of government buildings - all according to the press conference associated with Saddam's regime - were destroyed, the lights are still on!

That means we're being very careful not to target infrastructure. Let's hope the Iraqi military leaders surrender sooner rather than later.

When I saw those B-52s taking off from England this morning I knew that meant things were up. They weren't going on a joy ride or training exercise.

The news said that it is the presidential grounds, government and military targets only, all these sit on a section of the city. I am glad they are bombing the things that could be harmful to the Marines. I don't want to see another Somalia. Isn't it ironic that we are more concerned about the citizens of Iraq the Saddam is?
