Issuing a temporary DDE card?

We are arriving at Disney on a Sunday. We are planning to upgrade our one day tickets (with free dining), to annual passes. I understand that the main DDE office is closed on weekends so we can't call about buying a DDE card until Monday morning.

Come Monday, where do we go to receive our temporary DDE card? TIA!

I bought the DDE right before leaving for WDW, and then picked up our temporary card at the guest relations window at Epcot. There may be other locations, but I don't remember them. I'm sure once you call DDE, they will be able to give you better information! Have fun, it's a great program!

My understanding/experience is that you can ONLY pick it up at Guest Relations at Epcot, outside the main entrance (not the IG). Also, you will have to wait until 4 pm to be able to get it, so that precludes using it for lunch that same day.

I would call DDE before you go and try to order the card, they might let you do that before you upgrade. I know they will ask to see your AP when you pick up the card, so they might let you order before hand and then you can pick it up Monday morning. As stated before, the only place is guest relations in front of Epcot (outside the gates).

I've had the card for a few years and it's so worth it!!

You should be able to order the card in advance. After you pick up your AP then you'll be able to pick up your DDE temporary card. DW and I did this last year. As mentioned before, the only place to pick up the card is at Guest Relations at the main entrance of Epcot.
