Issues with Transferring DVC Card

Okay, I went to "Emma" to get directions on transferring my DVC membership card.
But, when I click "Disney Magic Mobile" I get sent to a page headed "Learn More" with all the wonderful things having Magic Mobile can achieve.
I emailed Disney, who sent me back to "Emma."

I don't really know what a "wallet" is. Do I need one before I can get the correct page?

So, any ideas on what the problem might be?

If you have an iPhone then you need Apple Wallet. If your phone is an android, then you need to have Google Pay. Both are virtual wallets for storing annual passes, park tickets and your DVC ID.

You will also need the most recent version of MDE.

And lastly, your DVC membership needs to be linked to your MDE account. Chances are that it already is since Disney pretty much forced us to merge all Disney-related accounts under one login a few years ago.

Once you've ensured that those 3 things are completed, you should be able to follow Emma's directions for adding your DVC membership to your virtual wallet.

The big problem was a lingering email issue that had not been resolved on my Smartphone.
Is there just the one virtual card for everything: Card passes, Genie Plus, DVC Card?

Pretty much, but they work a little bit differently.

For park passes, Genie+, and hotel room key, you would physically tap your phone to the touchpoints the same way you would a MagicBand, plastic room key, or plastic park ticket. For DVC membership, there's just a bit of text that you would show to the cast member. There's no tapping or scanning for the DVC portion.

Once the Magic Mobile pass is loaded into either the Apple Wallet or Google pay, it will be the affiliations that show DVC Y for those eligible for the membership discounts.

For Apple Wallet, you click the 3 dots at the top. For Google Pay there is a details link.
