Issues registering child for birthday promo + City Hall hours?

I've been lurking for a few weeks and really appreciate all the great info here. I have been going to Disneyland my whole life, but discover something new each trip!

Am I the only one who can't seem to register a child for the free birthday ticket on the disneyland.com site? I have followed the directions and tried on different days, but have never been able to register my child when logged in on my account. I just want to know we will be able to pick up her "fun card" without issue.

Also, does anyone know if City Hall opens early on MM? I'd love to get DD her birthday button and fun card first thing on her birthday!

Don't worry, I couldn't register my DBF either (it kept saying his bday was invalid so I told him no one was born on his big day LOL) but we got the card with NO problems at all. We just went to City Hall and told them we weren't able to register and they took care of it for us. Very easy. I have no idea when City Hall opens tho, sorry.

Make sure you have the birth certificate and read to make sure as I am pretty sure they will want a cerified copy of it.

I wouldn't worry! Just go to City Hall with a birth certificate like mechurchlady and Kerri said.

I've been reading that even people who do register, aren't getting the emails they're supposed to take to the ticket booths/City Hall anyways.
