I've tried several times to pay dues today using gift cards. $500 at a time. Pick contract, put in the amount, put in gift card, shows amount on card, shows reduction in amount due. Hit enter. Goes back to full amount again. The money is still on the card. I tried restarting laptop. I tried chrome and firefox.

Any thoughts?

Are you using pay per contract?

No, but I’ve seen several others are having similar issues over on the miscellaneous threads…

I'm having the same issue. My last payment - UGH. Autopay is off and paying by contract.

After reading on the Mousellaneous thread, I'm concerned they've pulled the rug out from under people. I'm lucky that I've fully paid this year using gift cards back in December.

However, this has been a substantial savings for me for maybe 5-6 years and I had never had to remove myself from auto pay to do it in the past, so that's already a small hurdle that I had to do in December.

Also, I found the time limits a bit confusing. People were busy explaining it all but one thing stood out and that was paying after January 15th.

My question is, has anyone reading here already been able to unenroll from Auto pay, use their gift cards and re-enroll in auto pay 'after' January 15th? If so, did you pay in full or do a partial payment?

I do not believe you are able to unenroll and re-enroll. I believe if you unenroll then they need to be paid in full.

I am hoping someone will come on here and tell me that I am mistaken.

When I read it I understood it as 'unenrolling after Jan 15 - pay in full.' Then re-enroll to continue autopay for next year.

After reading other people's explanations, I figured I was wrong, but for me, I'd already paid my full balance right after the bill posted, so no worries.

However, that was because I was able to grab over 4k (this year getting nice discounts) and pay it. I've always had the ability to pay my dues in one sweep, just not with discounts. Going forward I'd obviously like to be able to continue those discounts.

I'm so glad its not just me. Just spent an hour trying different browsers and checking my gift card balance online but couldn't get the payment to go through. I have used a gift card successfully last week to make a payment so don't think it's related to the Jan 15th deadline. And as a Canadian I can't get auto pay anyway so that's off and shouldn't be a factor. Must be a glitch for everyone so I'm going to try and set it aside and try again tomorrow.

I believe the deadline to be able to unenroll, make a partial payment and then re enroll is Feb 14th. I've been doing it all month - up to and including Thursday.

Are you using pay per contract?
Yes. So SSR owe 1500 BLT 1000 =total 2500. Put in gift card, $500, it then says $2000. But goes back to $2500. Not exact numbers, we don't own 157 and 2/3 points at SSR. Just didn't want any math wizards ask what kind of crazy contract do we have.

Also nothing to do with monthly payment, just trying to pay the whole thing with several gift cards and CC for odd amount left.

Sounds like it might be a glitch because people are having issues even when gift cards are more than the balance due.

Or, they disabled the use of GC online and maybe call to accounting will be required?

I hope this is a glitch. I was worried about them taking away the ability to pay with GCs after the last change. I have already paid my 2025 dues, but have started collecting for 2026.

I tried again this morning, still not working. MS accounting opens soon. Hopefully it will be working today.

I had the same thing happen this morning. Can you post here to update what MS says?
No update. Tried calling and got message higher than normal calling, call back later. Didn't even give the option of your wait time will be three hours. Went on to say if trying to pay online, try again later, then gave a mailing address and then hung up.

Just spoke to someone in Accounting. The gift card problem is a "known issue" and isn't just on the website, it's also a problem at their end. "Someone is looking into it" and they hope to have it fixed by tomorrow morning, hopefully even by later today.
Thank you for sharing this info!

Thanks for this! I emailed member accounting and am on hold now on the phone. May lose them as it is after 5, but if so I will call back in the morning if it doesn’t work.
