Issues Making Fastpasses on App

I can't make or modify Fastpasses on my app. If I delete the app and then re-install it, it works for a few hours. I have a trip in less than a week and don't want to have to constantly uninstall reinstall the entire time, especially with Disney's less than amazing wifi. Any suggestions?
 
Can you make the changes you want using a web browser with MDX?
 

Then do it that way on your phone. Use a web browser and view it in desktop version. That should work better if the app keeps crashing. Mobile or desktop should be fine, but I find on some websites, it's easier to navigate if I have it in desktop mode.
Yeah. That's what I figure I'll have to do. I was just hoping someone knew a way to get the app to do what it should.

I hear you! It really is unacceptable. The desk top version isn't flawless either, by any means. I had one trip last year where I was online at 7 am 60 days out to do Fastpasses and the system wouldn't let me book anything. It was 11 am before it stopped giving me the Stitch page, or that one where Olaf's head falls off. Needless to say I didn't get everything we wanted.
 
I had that issue last May during our trip.3 days in and the phone app suddenly quit working for fast passes.I couldn’t make or modify one tried uninstalling and reinstalling,nothing worked.I wound up going through the website for the rest of our trip without issues. I never did figure out what went wrong.
 
Have you tried signing out and back in every time it stops working?
I get some odd messages where it can't load pages on the app and basically, it's like I'm no longer signed in, even though I can see everything. I find that signing out and then logging back in fixes it

That sounds like a great suggestion so I tried to try it BUT, how do you sign out on the app? When I'm at Disney the app makes me sign in every time I use it. I'm at home currently and it never asks me to sign in and I don't see a sign out option.

Excellent! I stumbled upon this fix some time ago.
I decided that it must be like the website and essentially, for lack of better explanation, have some sort of expiration for the "cookie" that it uses to store your login info, even though it looks like you are still logged in. On the website, it will take you back to the log in screen. On the app, it won't. It should but it won't. Instead, you get errors that make no sense and are useless.
 
This past week when we were there we found the browser in phone method worked the best; also disconnecting from Disney wifi AND turning off battery save mode. We'd never had these kind of problems with MDE before! But that seemed to be our magical solution. I'll definitely try the log out/log in method next time!
