Issues! HELP!

Well I'll start at the beginning! (as you do) I'm from the uk and have decided that with the heat in florida, in may, I was best just letting all the men in the wedding party, wear shirts, waistcoats and cravats instead of the traditional suit jacket or tux. So they did'nt all faint! (Which the groom would, no doubt!) Any way I decided on white waistcoats and cravats as they look really smart and my bridesmaids were going to be in mint green (I cannot get mint green waistcoats anywhere, so white would have to do) But now I have an extra bridesmaid and I cant find the same mint green outfit for her as the others. I have tried and tried! But I have now decided to change the colour to pink and have found some pretty dresses that they could wear (the original ones were'nt that expensive anyway so I'm not fussed about buying more) Now I don't know whether to change the colour of the men's waistcoats to pink (which they will not be pleased about) or try and get the groom to wear a pink one ( he says he's not wearing pink to match the bridesmaids, but I think I could change his mind) He wants to wear the same white one as the rest of the men, but I think that will make him blend in too much. This is totally stressing me out and I would really love some input from other people! Has anyone else had a wedding were the groom wore exactly the same as the rest of the men? Did it look ok? As you can tell its not a very formal wedding, more smart and cool (because of the heat, we're more used to the rain)

I just wanted to let you know we had the same dilema. Our colors are Pink and Black. Do to the heat. I didnt want the guys wearing black. The bridesmaids are wearing white and black dresses. My DF wanted to be traditional and wear white vest, tie and shirt. So he chose silver for the groomsmen. I wanted them in pink at first, but after seeing the tuxes with the vests, it looks amazing. It's really want look you want for your wedding though.

I really like the white better than the oink for the men, I think it looks really nice

& I love those dresses for your girls....GREAT CHOICE

you could always do the flower on the guys as light pink & the groom as a darker pink or a different type of pink flower

Thanx I wanted something quite fresh and young (as my bridesmaids are 20,18 and 13) I think they can pull the length off as they are all uk size 8! And blonde! (Im so gonna look like the odd 1 out LOL)

White, white, white! I'm from the UK too, and I think they look great in white (plus I have no doubt my DF would think twice about wearing pink in order to stand out, LOL).

I love your dress and everything else too! If you are going to make any of the guys wear pink I would make the groomsmen. I just think it would look better if you and your groom matched! But you can't go wrong anyway you do it!

Another vote for the groom to wear white... I agree with the previous poster about having the groomsmen wear the pink if you want the groom to stand out. Good luck!

I agree, another vote white! I would go for silver for the groomsmen, just my opinion, but I think all white or pink would look nice too.
