Issues getting confirmation letter?

Has anyone else had issues obtaining a confirmation letter lately? I have called TWICE now and no letter! It's been over 2 weeks! My renter is getting very frustrated with me (can't blame her) and I can't offer her a whole of info other then "I called them...". MS can't fax me one of course because they are printed elsewhere.

I know they say 7-10 business days, but it never takes that long to reach me! When are we going to gain the ability to print one from DVCmember.com?

Can't you go into your account on the Member Website and just print the screen that shows the vacation details?

Ours took a little over two weeks to arrive. I'd forgotten I'd made the reservation by the time the confirmation came.

We made two reservations, one on October 23 and the other on October 25. We received both confirmation letters on October 31.

I agree that the confirmations are taking a long time to come in the mail. We have a trip coming up in a couple of weeks that we never even received the confirmation for. I can see the reservation on dvcmember.com, so I'm not worried about it, but it would be nice to actually have the confirmation in hand when we go to check in.

Can't you go into your account on the Member Website and just print the screen that shows the vacation details?

Yes you can, it even offers a Print version versus just doing a screen print. It does show your member ID, which I would probably mark out unless the renter needs it for the reservation.

Your renter can also go to mydisneyreservation.com/dvc and enter in confirmation # and last name and be able to view reservation details.

And yes the letters are taking longer and you should allow 2 weeks minimum with every request.

The letters are printed and mailed in batches by a outside contractor. There currently seems to be a larger delay in the cycle. Another item that cause problems is that the MS Adviser has to request the print out and sometimes they forget.

Made our latest reservation with MS on 10/26 and got it in todays mail (11/02) one week later.

I tried the mydisneyreservation site to no avail with either my reservation or my renters. Then I tried my name with a space in it and it came up. One down, one to go. I called MS and confirmed the reservation number, dates, and unit size. I then asked them to tell me the name on the reservation and it was misspelled - again! When I put the misspelled name in the reservation came up. So I had them correct it - again. And resend a confirmation - again.

Guess what showed up in the mail today?

BTW, I'd keep a copy in case your renter loses the original.
