Issue w/site on Microsoft Surface

There are 2 ways to get to the internet on the Surface - one is from the "app"/tablet side of the Surface, and one is from the Desktop/Windows side of the surface(running Windows RT 8.1).

When I'm typing a response on the tablet/app web browser on the new DIS site, the response is very delayed. I can type a whole sentence and then watch for 10-15 seconds as the words I typed appear on the screen.

When I'm using the desktop/windows web browser, it works a bit better, though will still delay.

I see this especially happening when I'm replying to threads (it isn't happening as I'm writing this new thread on the desktop/windows side).

Any reason why this might be happening? Can it be fixed? I love the new site as a whole, but I prefer using the Surface to my laptop and it's very frustrating to have that typing lag all the time..

I use a Surface as well (I LOVE it!), and I've had this same problem when I type on various web pages and sites, including sometimes here in the DIS. It's not most of the time, and I don't think that it has anything to do with the new DIS site since I've seen this happen before the boards changed.

I wish I knew what was going on, but I at least wanted to reply to your thread so you'd know it wasn't just happening to you.

The new DIS is the only site that I've had this happen on, and I frequent a few other boards as well. I didn't have this issue at all before the changeover here. It doesn't happen every time I type something here, but the longer the post the more likely it seems to be to happen.

If it were happening to me on other sites too, I'd say it was the surface...but for me, it is.only happening here.
