Issue after issue with Disney's ROFR

Update 12/2 - finally able to download the paperwork and one page (out of 24) listed incorrect names for the deed. WTH? Broker had Disney contact us directly, realized they had made a mistake and resent the package to us. We got it notarized last night and dropped it off at FedEx this morning. Fingers crossed!!!!

Disney executed ROFR on the contract we were selling. It's been issue after issue (and incompetence on Disney's part).
First, they couldn't read our home address correctly from their own database.
Then, they emailed the documents and listed a cell phone number to send an authentication code to. Problem is it wasn't our cell phone number. Not even a number on our DVC website profile.
We are waiting for this latest correction so we can at least access the documents. At this point, I don't expect them to be correct. Or, worse, when we finally get the check from them it will bounce lol

We just went around and around with the authentication code. DVC finally gave up and FEDEX'd a hard copy. No worries about the $$ as it was wired in a split second once they finally got the documents! Good luck!
 

Having sold DVC about a half dozen contracts under ROFR, I've not had any major life ending problems and I've found the folks at DVC who run ROFR (not the ones who decide what contracts to ROFR, but the ones who execute the process) to be nice, helpful, and very Disney-like. With that said, sorry to hear you're having problems.

Ugh, that sucks. Bear with them though, they've only been doing this for 30 years!
