ISO the perfect Toddler Cup

We are taking our DS to disney in May and are staying at AKL. I've heard they have a very strict policy regarding straws. Not allowed, correct? Anyway, DS only drinks from straws. He has straw sippy cups and I'm not sure whether we can take them with us to AKL. Does anyone know what AKL policy is regarding sippy straws? Where could I find out such information? And, just in case, does anyone have some good alternative suggestions. DS can drink from regular cup (a little messy) but he still doesn't understand that he needs to tip regular sippy cups up in order to get something out of it. Thanks in advance

As long as the straw is attached to the cup there won't be a problem. It's regular straws that you put in a glass that can cause safety issues for the animals.

The playtex cups with attached straws are great. The ones with the covers that close over the straws...? I also got some super cheap cups that have attached straws on the lids at Walmart.

CampbellScot is correct. And I think the 2nd cups referred to might be the Nuby brand? They sort of look like sport bottles and they also carry them at Walgreens, here.

AK does sell an animal topper sports bottle that does have a straw but it is big enough for the two of you to drink out of if you don't mind sharing and refills are only 1 dollar w/ tax.

It is 6.79 for the cup w/ or w/out drink in it.

We have both the playtex & the nuby straw cups. DS prefers the playtex ones and I can bring a couple with us but would prefer to bring the take and toss straw cups. Do you think these would be permitted?http://www.learningcurve.com/product/detail/Y9147A1
