The sticky thread up top is outdated and I can't find anything searching.....
I would love to see some of the renovated standard rooms at DLH. I have been reading a few threads lately that people like the new rooms at DLH more than the GCH rooms.
I'm hoping to find a discount and be able to splurge and surprise my girls with rooms onsite for their 16th birthday. It will likely be the only time we ever spend that kind of money on a room, our budget just squeals at the thought, lol. SO I want to make the right decision. I thought GCH because it would be the "flagship"....but a lot of thread make it sound like the rooms are dark and small and the theme work is subtle. To give you an idea....my girls' favorite hotel at WDW is POP... because of the bright colors and in-your-face theming....so if Disney Hotel has more than Grand Californian, I need to change my thinking!
Also....any know if I have any hope of a discount for late June (21-25)? All the deals I see end in March.....I know the summer is busy season so do they offer no discounts because they don't need to?
