Isn't there something else I can plan?

Help! I feel I am all done planning and need something to pass the next 40 days with! We have our airfare, our package is paid for, we have our PSs. What else?

list out the gazoo, yet, I'm afraid with nothing to do the next 30 days or so, I'm gonna go crazy

I am in the same boat. I just keep scanning the boards and try to help others plan. That way, my vacation goes on and on and on.

Karen - time definitely does NOT fly! Especially when you are obsessed! I need to keep calling the dining people to see if I can get a better time for Fantasmic. Aside from that I guess I will try to offer help where I can like Jenn is doing.

I think I need to rethink our park choices on the particular days...that can get me busy again

BTW DS3 is just as bad...he is on the couch watching the Disney vacation planning DVD. He asked for it by name!!!

Get a map that list everything individually at each park that you are going to go to. Then, you can strategize exactly what you want to do and try to pick an order that you want to do it in. Talk with the family to make sure everyone and everything is covered. That way you all hav a magical trip.

Thanks for the idea. But, they will kill me if I plan every minute of their day. They want to "wing it". They freaked out enough that I had plans for our dinners months before we are going.

I have 10 days left and I feel I'm not ready. I started at 97 days out. We made a paper chain for the hall and take turns pulling one off. We watch disney movies as a family. I go to the stores and look for cute disney gifts for my girls and other family members to give to them on the trip. New princess jammies, I bought new disney short sets for my girls. Never to early to start writing out your packing list and get a bin out label it Diseny and fill it up with items you bought or will need to take. I wrote out what days to go to what parts or at least familarize yourself on what days are worse days to visit parks. Crowd wise. Check out the Early hour schedules during your visit. Make your kids a travel journal. Mine turned out great. Clean pennies for thepresses. Let your kids go to the disney world website and have them click on the rides and watch the little videos. My kids love the video's. Anyway just some ideas. Don't forget to get your hair done (color,perm) or your nails, go tanning if you do that. Get new walking shoes or sandels. Make your appointments for doggie vacation. ( 2 dogs to kennel) or cats. Do you do list before you leave your home list. Turn down water, house sitter?, auto light, just what ever you need to do before you go so when its time to leave and your so excited you go what do I still need to do. So I hope this helps. Im obessed and crazy I think. Time went by real quick when you start seeing your chain that was 7 feet long to being a foot. I'm nervous. Have a great trip.

You got me all excited to go shopping! I may head out to Target in a minute to see what Disney stuff I can find. I love Target. I have a new Star Wars outfit for DS3 to wear to MGM and a patriotic TShirt coming for July 4. I plan to go to the dollar store and get glow sticks for the nighttime events. Much cheaper to buy 3 necklaces for a dollar here than to buy them in the parks!

We had the chain too...it started only a 70 days and so we have been doing it for a month. It was draped over DS's bookshelf and now it barely makes it across the top without him stretching to reach an end.

I do have a tentative plan for which parks on which days based on our PSs...in July is there really a difference as to which parks are best? I think they will ALL be crowded, right?

I need to call the kennel and have a lot of things "to do" yet I guess

Thank God, I'm not the only one!!!! My dh thinks I'm crazy for planning so far ahead. I keep looking for things to do. I ordered my MNSSHP tickets and made priority seating at Liberty Tree for the same night. I even bought macthing Mickey outfits for my DH, my DS, my mom and me! They don't know that yet.

You realy should plan your park days... you don't have to tell them your doing it. You need to get to the parks early & have a touring plan. You don't have to follow it exactly but have a idea of the parks & whats open for EE. Make a list of must see & do... then go from there.

Now I leave June 29. I am reading my Passporter & getting a feel for the parks.

I am planning what to pack. I buy white tank type tops for DH & DD 8 & 10. I need at least 8 differnt styles. Light shorts. Nothing dark its to hot. June 1 the Suite cases come down & I start putting togather everything. I like going in June I can buy all new clothes for the girls because its the change of season here in PA. I have started buying my food for our room....things I never buy at home.

I am also leaving on June 29th. I will start packing this weekend. I put every oufit into ziplock bags for each kid for the week. This makes it so easy in the morning to get dressed. I am very anxious,still have to find a rental car,housesitter or animal watcher and clean my house. I also have to go find something lime green to wear or display. I guess I can still find things to do. Oh, I want to have a yard sale so my kids will have some spending money,if it ever stops raining!!!! Have fun everyone!!!!

We leave in a month and I feel the same way. I have actually been shopping for little Disney gifts for my daughter. She is celebrating her birthday while we are there so I have been looking for Disney items to give her for gifts. Are there any ideas I can try to pass the time before we leave.??

I keep doing the same thing! My DS3 also asks for the Disney vacation planning video all the time. He just loves it! He calls WDW "diney". He says "I go Diney now?" How Cute!
