islands of adventure 5/8/15

Does anyone know why Islands of adventure seems to be closing at 6Pm on 5/8/15 and also a few fridays around then at the same time? I'm assuming theres some sort of event going on??? Also Universal studios is open until 10pm i beleive during that time. Just curious and how it may effect crowds in the park during the day if at all? thanks!

Does that usually effect the park crowds during the day? Or just after hours?

hours, when there is a special event.


i try to avoid the parks in May for fridays.
too many local schools do field trips during the day.
