As I look out on another snow & ice storm I readily admit I'm losing it! I need my Island Mango air fresheners to get me through this. I think between the "Island Mango", and some psuedo "Konk Coolers" I'll make it until our 2/28 Western!

How is everyone else dealing with the weather?

I'm in the same boat as you are!!!!! ;) ;) Pun intended!

I really don't like the idea of heavy rain later today. Reminds me of 1996. :(

I guess I will just have to light my Island Mango Yankee Candle, put on a Disney Resort CD, watch the DCL vacation planning video, hang out on the DIS, then reread my passporter!! OK.....maybe not too bad of a day!

Boy do I agree with this post.

Enough already with winter. And as we all know the "shadow" was seen this year. Another 6 weeks, the only way to get through it is to frequent these boards and plan, plan, plan.

Ahhhhh!!! I plan on sitting on deck 10 soaking up the sun soon.

We have ANOTHER snow day, third already this year! We have one week until we hit the road for our 2/15 Wonder cruise and getting antsy!

I personally LOVE the snow and crappy weather this time of year!!! It makes my cruise in the end of march seem that much BETTER!!! I will start tanning next week, shopping the week after that, looking in my mailbox for my docs the week after that, confirming my excrusions the week after that and packing the week after that. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow, we're getting outa here!!!!

Hi! I am right there with you. Last night I actually had to cut up some mango for a fruit salad demo my dd had to do at school. I could no resist a piece and was soooo disappointed as it was not ripe and sweet. That made me think of disney's fruit which led to me thinking about the fruit at parrot cay.....aaaaah .... I can't hardly wait myself, I will be joining you on the same cruise 2/28 west:wave2:

I love the freshly sliced fruit at CC, and at Scoops! Of course I also enjoy the ice cream, chicken fingers, chocolate souffle, lobster, steak, etc....you get the idea.

BTW have you tried the cold Mango Soup they serve at the embarkation buffet?

ooh! that sounds wonderful....the soup? nope....but then i have only been on the 4 night once and was spanking new then .... i shall put that on my list of must haves...thanks:teeth:

I, too, will be on that cruise. We are doing land and sea so will be in orlando on Thursday. We are also getting alot of rain and had some snow and ice in early Jan. I can't wait to be in the tropics!! 4 more days for me!!

dancing all the way to the airport.......

:Pinkbounc  :bounce: :p :Pinkbounc  :bounce: :wave2:

Jeff,

You just had to ask this question didn't you!!! What a week we've had, my DW had a car accident last Saturday (no injuries) except on the car, then Wednesday I slipped and fell on black ice while walking around reading meters. Our car is at the auto body shop and I'm on the heating pad. Hasn't this winter been great??? LOL!!!

Sorry to hear about your week. Glad, though that DW is ok. Cars can be repaired. ...and after slipping on the ice hopefully, you can be repaired too! In the meantime you'll be forced to sit on the heating pad, and DD will have to bring you drinks (think Konk Cooler)! Hope you're feeling better soon.

Disney......take me away!!!!!

Next time you cruise, have your "orange/mango soup" in a glass and add ice and a shot (or two) of rum - makes for a great drink "Mango Tango"!

One of my best memories of CC is sitting across from the Fruit Cart and having mango juice running down my chin and hands - ahhhh!!!!
