DH is off today, so we are going to take everything down and get the house back to normal. I love the Holidays, but by this time I have had enough of all the decorations.

Happy New Year!

by 1030 AM christmas day there was not a needle left on the floor- if that tells you anything :confused3

My job for the day is to get the tree down! I'll probably leave the dining room decorated til next week because I love looking at it. :sunny:

heck no! lol We often joke around about our tree that could become a "valentine tree", or even an "Easter tree" ;)
Seriously though, we'll probably have it down in the next week or two.

Oh yea! I can't wait to get them down after Christmas. By the day after Christams I am so ready for htem to be away until next year!

Mine was down Christmas night and out the door waiting for trash pick-up

I'll be doing that tomorrow or Monday.

I am really wanting to take all of our descorations down as our house is in such a mess because of Christmas - I can't seem to tidy up with everything around! I may do it on Tuesday as DH is off work then.

we usually take ours down on new years day, but this year will wait until jan. 2nd (we're having a party on the first). I'm still enjoying the decorations...granted, we also didn't decorate until december 10th. If I had put stuff up earlier I would probably be soooo ready by now.

Took the tree and all the inside decorations down yesterday since I was off. Today if the weather cooperatates we'll do the outside.

Ours was supposed to come down this week... then we went and bought a new tree on clearance and DH came up with the brilliant idea of putting it up "just to see what it looks like" So we are on our 2nd tree  But it will be coming down either tomorrow or Monday. DH promised to help get it down before he goes back to work on Tuesday. :rotfl2:

The tree is down but not the decorations. We got a Douglas fir this year and it didn't hold it's needles well (back to Frasiers next year). The decorations will come down sometime in the coming week I guess.

Oh Lordy - decorations all over my house still. Some up and some down. Like to keep them up for the grandbaby. (so much joy with her this year) They will eventually get up away in the shed and packed up

Yep. I took the decorations off the tree xmas night (got a new decorations box) and the tree came down a couple days later (usually the day after- but I had to work that day). I am always ready for it to come down.

Not yet, I take them down New Years Day.

We almost did it yesterday, but decided to wait until New Year's Day - so tomorrow everything will come done and my house will be back to normal.

We put everything up the weekend after Thanksgiving because my college freshman son was home. So, needless to say, we are definitely over Christmas.
