Is your favorite resort the one you own at?

Yes. We waited until the BCV's were available, checked out the product, then made our purchase.

NEVER had a second thought or a regret.

Nothing like walking "home" after the fireworks!

Yes. We own at BWV and BCV. Just love BWV - ever since the first time we set foot there, it has had some type of hold on us. And BCV is a close 2nd, we love it there also.

Never heard of Dvc until a trip in 2000 when we walked by the displays and one day in Ak I stopped to look. That was the start of everything. We went on the tour at the Bw and I came home and studied for a couple weeks how to swing this. We did purchase at the Bwv and love it there. Have stayed at Wlv and Okw by love the action and closeness to things at the Bw. Enough that we have done 3 add ons.

We own at BWV and love it! Do not regret it for a minute. When we purchased BWV was the only one available and we really wanted OKW (and didn't know about resales or this board then) but since staying at BWV, we love it and are not sorry! We also love OKW for it's laid back, relaxing atmosphere and nice big rooms! We also own at VB (which we love) and SSR (which we haven't tried yet).
Have not stayed at BCV (but will in August) not WVL (but plan to try next year).

We own at BWV, but have to say BCV is our favorite!! We have four children ages 3 - 10 and Stormalong Bay keeps them all happy. Plus, our first stay ever as a family was at Yacht Club, so the whole YC/BC/BCV is very special to us.

YUP! Love VWL and that is where we own. We went to WL on our honeymoon (before the Villas were ever built.) When we first looked into DVC, BWV was what they were selling, but we were not ready financially to commit. However, when we were ready, it was awesome that VWL were being offered for sale!

I will state though, that I have liked every DVC (and WDW) resort that we have stayed at! I wouldn't complain about any of them!

We own at BCV and just love it there. It seems to be at the hub of activity, it is bright and always makes me happy.

I wanted DVC, not DH. He did agree to purchase at VWL when they were selling. We later purchased at BCV to have the 11 month availability. However, if they ever open a resort at the Polynesian, I'll be in that line for sure!!!!

OKW and VWL are my favorites, and we own at BCV. Luckily we have had no problems getting reservations so far. I live for my Disney trips so I always plan and book way ahead.

Hilton Head was really wonderful too. An ideal vacation would be 4 or 5 days there after time in Orlando.

I love the grounds and giant rooms and low points at OKW. Love the theming of the Lodge and the proximity to the MK. Beach Club obviously has the best pool, but is otherwise not my favorite.

We own at BCVs and VWL, and those are our favorite resorts. We originally bought points at BCV, and then added on after a couple of stays at VWL. We like the peacefulness and proximity to the parks of both of these resorts. We've been known to stay at VWL for a couple of days and visit MK, and then move to BCVs to visit Epcot and MGM .

OKW, I do not think you will ever have a hard time getting into at 7 months or less. However as the number of DVC members continue to grow, the competition at 7 months for VWL and HH wil most likely also continue to grow.
The fact that you plan well in advance is definitly a very positive factor.
Even if you decide to always stay at DVC resorts other than BCV, owning pts at this resort is a very good financial decision. Although all DVC properties have a very good resale value/trading value. etc.; some have better values than others--and BCV is among the top!

I purchased my OKW contract in August, before even visiting the property(!!), but now I know I made the right choice.

Is it my favorite Disney property? Yes and no...it depends on what I'm in the mood for, lol!

But OKW offers the ammenities and advantages that best serve our style of Disney vacationing.

Still, I absolutely love ALL the DVC resorts and the fact that I have access to them all is such a great perk of being a DVC member. This year, we have reservations at 3 of the 5, and can't wait for each one. I'm sure none will dissapoint.

Yes....we bought at BCV and that is our favorite. Always want to try some of the others, like OKW, but just can't tear ourselves away from BCV.

We own at BCV and it's our favorite. We love the area, closeness to EPCOT, Stormalong Bay and the feel that its quiet and separate even though its in the middle of all the action. I have not tried any of the off sites yet or OKW so I should really reserve judgement but having stayed at all the other DVC's, we love BCV. Of course, I wouldn't turn my nose up at any of the others. It's like comparing perfect to most perfect.
