A neighbor just called me--I don't even know him. We have a neighborhood directory with our e-mail and phone numbers in it. Our e-mail is a yahoo address. We moved several times in the last 5 years and wanted a stable e-mail address. Anyway, he said that he noticed we had yahoo as our internet provider. I explained that we had cable internet and about the e-mail address and that we had gotten it by just going to yahoo.com and signing up. He then said that he had tried to get yahoo as his provider but they said thet he couldn't --something about his phone number. He asked me if I had gotten it since we moved here or did I bring it with me. I told him that we had had it for several years and had started using it before we moved here.
Is yahoo an internet provider? I thought they were just a search engine. Does this even make any sense?
