We're going in Feb (14-20) and would LOVE to do the dessert party, but I thought it was over after Christmas. Then someone posted about ressies for next May. Is it going to continue? Any info is appreciated!

Can someone tell me what the Dessert party even is? I have no clue and am going in less than 30days

I am visiting in March so I called Disney Dining to see if this was going to be continued in 2010
The CM told me that they were currently only making ADRs until the first week of January but she was fairly confident that it would be extended as it was very popular and lots of people have been asking about it
She told me to call again in January

Wow! Thanks for the detective work and for sharing your info! I know just when we'll go if it is extended! Dinner at Tony's then dessert at the party! Fun Fun Fun! I'm gonna be fat fat fat!:)

For those who asked what it is, Tomorrowland Terrace Station (I think it's there) holds a dessert party where you eat desserts and get to have a great view of Wishes! It's supposed to be great!

For something that makes that much profit, I serious doubt cancellation .

We went on the 4th of July and it was soooo worth it to have the reserved seating! The deserts were wonderful and I think we ate our weight in chocolate covered strawberrys. I would definately reccomend it if there are alot of people in the park because you are not crammed in trying to watch the fireworks. It is in the tomarrow land noodle terrace on the bottom level closest to the castle, they have that section closed off so no one else can get in but those with reservations. They had hula hoops for the kids and your table was prearranged so it didn't matter if you got there really early or not. They brought more deserts out throughout the event so they never ran out and they let us stay until half hour after the fireworks too. Here's one of our plates of goodies

I'm really hoping it gets extended. We're going at the end of Jan. and would love to do this. I do, however, think I read something a while ago about some planned work on the TT Noodle Station after the first of the year:confused3. I could be wrong but I thought I saw that somewhere and that was why there weren't any dessert parties scheduled.

I was there in October. I didn't see any hoola hoops for the children.

It took a while for them to check us in and then we were shown to our table. We ate some of our desserts and then I took my niece to the washroom before Wishes started. When we arrived back at our table it was completely cleared. I had to find the manager and explain what happened so that my niece could have some food-she is lactose intollerant and they had made a special plate for her. I then had to get myself some food and by the time we returned it was time for Wishes to start. I then was scrambling to get a camera ready and our view was not so great as everyone else was standing at the railing. We of course didn't have a spot as it was just the two of us, and I couldn't possibly hold a spot and take her to the washroom.

We had a better view earlier in our trip.

We're also going in February and are hoping it also gets extended. Is this something you can't reserve online and have to call Disney to make a reservation? I was making online ADRs last week and didn't even see a description of it on the website.

We are also going in February and would love to do this one night. I'll keep checking here to see if anything opens up for February.

Yes, you have to call to book it. We did it thanksgiving week and loved it. When I called to book it, the first CM didn't know it existed, and the second one really had to work hard to get it figured out. Hopefully that has improved since they have done more of them!

I don't know if they will continue the party, but we weren't impressed. For the price, it was NOT worth it. If you are going for the view, you can easily find a great spot for free. The desserts were only so-so. In fact, my kids who LOVE desserts didn't like most of them. Mango and coffee aren't high on their list of favorites.

I just called to get a reservation for Jan 3rd, but was told at this time the last day for the Wishes Dessert Party is Jan 2nd :(
