Is Wii shop okay?

Is it safe to use a credit card on Wii shop? I don't see anything that talks about it being encrypted.

WiiShop uses McAfee Secure. IMO, WiiShop is safer than using it on a PC. Be sure to remove all this info if you sell your Wii.

I've used it with no problems. If you really want to be on the safe side, you can go buy point cards at the store. 20$ for 2000 points. that's what kids do when their parents won't let them use CC.
