Is wearing eyeliner ok for a 45 year old woman

I good friend of mine who is 53 just had permanent eye liner applied to her upper and lower lids, she loves it and I think it looks great!

I'm not 45 years old yet, but I only use liner on the lower lid, preferably a pencil liner vs. liquid liner.

45 is neither too young or too old for eyeliner. If you have the right eyes for it, you can wear it all the way around, but most of the time, just the whole top and some of the bottom is good.

Goodness, I hope 45 isn't too old! I wear it under my bottom lashes only, applied with pencil.

Someone once said you wear it outside (top/bottom) of the lashes to make the eyes look bigger and, inside your lid line to make them look smaller. Don't know about that, tho.

I can't wear it at all, my eyes are too sensitive, but if I could I would & I'm 45. So no, 45 is not too old in my opinion.

I wear it mostly under the eye.

I don't wear makeup, but I see no reason why it wouldn't be ok for anyone to wear it, including Pop Daddy.

Why would you think 45 could be to old?

Although I do not wear makeup, I do occasionally wear eye makeup. I do not understand why you think this age may be too old. If it is, someone forgot to tell me many, many years ago. When you start thinking your too old to do this or that, then your old before your time.

Do everythink you can, to stay young for as long as you can. Once you stop doing, you will get old.

I'll be 45 next month, and I HAVE to wear eyeliner. If I don't, I look older and my eyes look really tired. I wear it on the bottom only. I'm blond and have light skin, so I think if I wore it on the top too, it would look way too dark. I figure at this age, I need all the help I can get.

If you have NEVER worn eye liner may I politely suggest
you go to a department store in a mall and look around at the cometic counters and find someone who's make up you like...then ask that person about eye liner and how you should apply it they can help you apply it and suggest for YOU how it should be worn.

Believe it or not the shape of your face and eyes determines if you should wear it just on bottom, or on top or half away around...etc....

I use Lancome and Perscriptives...the make up people are usually friendly and use colors good for YOU and not just what is in SEASON! which alot of companies will try and sell you.
