Is VMK ruining your grades? My grades have gone from an A to a C since I started playing on VMK. What about you? Now I'm not telling you to not play VMK cause i luv VMK alot it is like my second home, it's just when I get on VMK it's like I am in it and can't get out. :confused3 It could just be me. I don't know please reply.

Same here I still have staright A's, I manage to not spend too much time on VMK, but still enought time to earn regular credits and spend time with friends on there, anywayz education comes first always! :duck:

you know the saying " My dog ate my homework"?
well, my dog actually ate mine not kidding. I'm so happy!! just kidding now i have to do it over

Just a word of advice,

Never let a video game ruin your grades!!! :scared:

If when you "get in" you can't "get out", don't go in! You have to remember that you will have to live with yourself for as long as you live and vmk will become only a memory to you years from now. ::yes::

If you had "A's" and now you get "C's", it is time to get the heck out of vmk and don't look back until you have substained a stable ground where you can both play and keep up those grades. :hyper:

I understad how vmk can make someone "drop" in scores however. Did you see the words they accept!?

Okay, I found an excuse for the accepted word "wronger" (used in language by William Shakespeare. My guess is that they thought to add some Shakespearian language to the world of virtual Disney lol.) I am sure they would rather go with that theory other than the idea that they really want kids to use the word wronger in everyday language with no rhyme or reason. (This would get to me lol :faint: ) I came across the use of the word "wronger" while reading "Othello" (a source for my information).

I still have failed to come to terms with the word "lalalaness."

If one's grades drop because of vmk, I understand why, however, it is also up to that person to understand and recognize when the word is being used incorrectly. :headache:

Okay LOL I am done with the English lesson for today LOL! (It is just that this whole "vmk is ruining my grades" issue is a hot topic with me for some reason LOL)

I've still got my solid A's. Though yeah if you have homework to do then do it before getting on VMK, or anything really.

I know But it is so hard to not go on everyday during school I sit and wait Everyday I sit and dream and wish I could just get on VMK.Wow that was touching. LOL anyways I am so addicted to VMK I can sometimes here it during class!! I am totally addicted!! VMK IS LIKE A DRUG. Not a bad one but anyways I usually don't have homework but schoolwork Is getting so much harders each year. whatever all I can say is I am trying. :confused3

Please don't permit VMK to get in the way of your grades. You kids are our future!

I've been working with starwarskid to help him develop good study habits. He's not permitted on the computer until his homework is finished. It's not just the days homework, but review of things he's learned throughout the week. On Fridays he has at least 4 tests. By Wednesday night most of his studying for these tests is finished. All he has to do is review for a few minutes the night before his tests. In about an hour, he is finished. We've made Thursday night out dinner out at Disney night, to reward him!

I'm happy to help anyone who needs pointers on developing good study habits.

Yes tink be aware of that.

It is a scary thought.Who would think that brain will be the president someday.

::yes::

switchfootrules, i have to admit, you are not alone. i still have my regular A's and B's, but vmk is now my life. i mean, it's taken over. i get home from school and i go straight to the computer and glue myself to it. i always say to myself that i will only be on for an hour......................3 hours later i am done because it is time to eat dinner o_o LOL but i still have my good ol' grades! i kind of have to keep up my grades bc if i get bad grades, i am grounded from vmk and that would just be :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: for me!! LOL so in a way vmk helps me with my grades..........in a weird way LOL

You know Brain, there is no reason you couldn't be president one day. A darn good one too from what I know of you!

There are a few other adults on VMK that have made the same observations of you that I have. You are extremely intelligent for your young age, and have a wonderful sense of fairness, generosity and humor already developed. All excellent qualities and indicators of being able to achieve anything you want, if you set your mind to it, my friend!!
:goodvibes

I agree with you ! Got to do good in school to play vmk ! Most of the time I say to myself "just a few moments just to get credit..." but it is already closing time :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Well, my grades have not change my grade are truely depend on how easy are the class. I am taking chem 2 ap/honors, Physics ap/honor( well because of how horrible is the cp teacher), and pre calc. all class are quite difficult for me. I am not really an honors student.
My dad though think vmk makes me angry whatever that means.

iluvthattink...if all parents were as dilligent and insightful as you are, us teachers would have a much easier job. Thank you for your dedication to your son and to helping extend what we do while he is at home.

Truely kids are our future. Sometimes I wonder if too many video games is why the election turnouts are always so low (I mean besides the ten hour lines in some areas). It is SO important that kids get the most that they can out of an education. Don't just do what is required either. Seek knowledge like it is the prize at a staff room in VMK ( that you can trade for five infernos!) Looking back at my own primary school years, I did just was required to get by. I was always smart and could pick things up easily, but when things got more difficult, I just did the minimum. I can see how I would have been easily distracted by VMK. I strongly encourage people of all ages to always set priorities wisely. The world will be a much better place when we all live to our potential. Ok now I sound like somebody's mom!
