Is that your price for January 2023? I haven’t seen any AP rates for then yet.For our January trip the AP rate for RPR was $204. We decided to go with PBR instead, which was $239.
No sorry that was our January 2022 trip. I should have clarified. We have PBR booked again for this Sept with a ST rate of $352 that I got back in April. Haven't seen any AP rates. Is that your price for January 2023? I haven’t seen any AP rates for then yet.
Yep. We are doing a Univeral/Disney split trip; and the Deluxe resorts with "FastPass" at Universal are $100 LESS than a moderate at Disney. Sigh.$71 for Endless Summer many weeknights in December. That’s practically free!
For comparison, the Disney annual pass rate for the All Stars is $126.
Great rate! Wdw prices are ridiculous.$71 for Endless Summer many weeknights in December. That’s practically free!

IMO Universal hotels are always priced lower than WDW in each category and offer more.Yep. We are doing a Univeral/Disney split trip; and the Deluxe resorts with "FastPass" at Universal are $100 LESS than a moderate at Disney. Sigh.
Thanks for the update been waiting for December rates but I haven’t checked for a few days. Just booked split stay Aventura $104 and RP $244 !!GREAT NEWS EVERYONE! NEW AP resort rates for Chistmas season just dropped today (at least I think it was today - I've been checking). Crazy great rates! $244 for Royal Pacific!!!
Universal was so busy in 2022 that the hotels were booked out far enough that they didn't offer many AP rates. There was so much pent up demand for travel that hotel prices went through the roof. You could occasionally find AP rates for mid-week during slow times. There weren't many discounts for the weekends, summer, holidays, or HHN.From the old pinned thread, it seems like Universal has offered APH rates for the Christmas holidays in years past, but that thread ended in 2021, was that still the case for 2022?
2022 and early 2023 were the post COVID “revenge vacations” when many were desperate to take vacations no matter what the cost.Universal was so busy in 2022 that the hotels were booked out far enough that they didn't offer many AP rates. Demand has slowed down in 2023. They're offering buy 2 days get 3 free tickets, 3 extra months on annual passes and way more AP hotel rates.
