to visit US/IOA. We have never been to either park and have a WDW planned for January. We will be staying at a DTD hotel. I am considering the idea of spending 5 days at WDW, and trying out US/IOA for two days.
Is this enough time to see/do most of attactions at US/IOA?
Is 5 days enough for WDW/Epcot/MGM/AK?
We are a family of 4: DH, myself, DD 21y.o., DS 19yo
Thanks,

Yes it will be enough time.
Since you are not staying onsite, get to the park early each day.

Figment,
For the price of a hotel in DD, you could stay at one of the Universal resorts for 2 nights. The ENT rate for Royal Pacific is 99.00 a nite, and Hard Rock 125.00 a night. You'll get front of the line access and you'll be right in the middle of all the action. (and no driving back to DD)

we're doing the same thing, 5 days at wdw, and 2 at us/ioa......also in january. since it's the low season i expect 2 days to be plenty. (i have been to US, but not IOA)

crazywig,
Are you staying at a Universal resort area hotel and then moving onto WDW resort area?
I don't know if we should stay the first two days at Universal area hotel and then move onto WDW resort area or stay at WDW thorughout and rent a car for the two days at Universal.

P.S. I noticed you are from Massachusetts also. I guess we all like to escape the cold weather come January!
