Is trip/vacation insurance worth it?

We have CSR booked with a PIN I received. Our price - 1545 - is for standard view and our park hoppers and includes trip insurance. Now that the new codes have come out, I could book a CSR water view room for $18 less, but this would not include the trip insurance. My question is whether the insurance is worth it or if we would be happier with a nice view on vacation. Has anyone here ever used the trip insurance? :confused3 Advice is much appreciated!

I personally haven't used trip insurance, because by the time I have made reservations, I am very unlikely to change them. But then again when are you travelling? If it happens to be during hurricane season, when changes to your travel plans may be beyond your control, you may wish to consider it.
