Also, what is the word on Minnie Vans? That would be a game changer.

I don't think the Minnie Vans are coming back, but a simple taxi is either the same price or cheaper than the Minnies were, and a lot faster to get to you when you order one. Walk out to Bell Services at the front of the resort, ask them to order a taxi for you, tip the caller $1 or $2, and your taxi should arrive within 5 minutes. I've done this at many resorts, including since reopening.

We also own at AKV but never stay there My wife cant stand it as a place to sleep, but enjoys the property itself.
