Is TLC's Table for 12 the new J&K+8....if so..

it seems it will be a bit boring as it is following the same format as Jon & Kate with scenes from the kids and then back to the sofa with the parents talking. Looks like they could have changed it up a bit to make it different.

I personally don't know anyone who watches it.. TLC has spent so much time promoting J&K Plus 8 - and using every angle they can to manipulate the masses with controversy, "big announcements", exploiting the kids, lawsuits, promoting "Saint Kate", etc., there are probably people who don't even know it exists..

Very boring. I've tried several times to watch it, but I nod off.

Well first there has to "be" a show - which isn't a given yet - and then she has to have a fan base to keep her on the air.. Personally, if she can't find a way to get the kids on air, I don't see it being anything long term..

I won't watch it..they live in the next town to me. I remember when the babies were born they set up a website for donations, and they only wanted NEW! I had alot of stuff at the time in really good condition...just bugged me!

I know Jon & Kate had a website begging for new items and money but did the parents from table of 12 have one also?

I don't begrudge either one of them a "career" - as long as it doesn't involve filming the kids or being detrimental to them in some other way.. I very much want these "parents" to support their children - rather than the children supporting the parents..

I just don't see either one of them having any "staying power" in terms of television shows and such.. Without the kids, what on earth do they have to talk about that would interest anyone?
