Is ticketmania legit?

It seems that Ticketmania has the lowest price on the passes I need to buy for our upcoming trip. I have always bought my tickets from Disney and am worried about trying another source. I looked them up on the BBB of Orlando website and found them to be in good standing. I've also seen them listed on Mousesavers as a good source from tickets. Both of these things make me think that this is probably an OK source. I'd like to hear from some folks that did purchase through ticketmania and have used their tickets. I have this fear of spending a large amt of money and getting to the gate and finding out that the tickets are duds. Can anyone help calm my fears?

cerrtainly is legit. I ordered through them twice, and went right through the gates.

Them and florida orlando tickets (I think?) are reputable places to buy from. You'll be OK

Yes they are legit, but try these first. I have just got my tickets off them in 5 days from the US to the UK and they are very very cheap!

I have purchased Disney passes as well as tickets for Universal Studios, Medieval Times Dinner Theater and Disney Quest from Ticketmania. They deliver very quickly and shipping is free. The tickets were accepted with no problems at all. I feel very confident in buying from them and won't hesitate to purchase from them in the future.

I used them in Sept and had a great experience with them. I ordered over the net and picked up the ticket at their office on 192. The staff was very nice and they were helpful with all of the questions that I had for them. I only bought 1 ticket for WDW and they handed me this big manila envelope with all sorts of info in it. I would have had to stop at 3 or 4 shops to get as much info as they gave me.

I even ordered AFTER their guaranteed delivery time, and got my tickets in six days, plus a ton of coupons that might actually be good if I ventured off site once in a while...

Aren't ticketmania's prices oretty much the same as buying tickets in advace from Disney? I think within like a dollar or so? I need to get 5 day ph and was looking into ticketmania but if I am only saving a dollar it is less hassel for me to just pick them up at the Disney store. Would there be any advatage to goin with ticketmania over Disney?

wdisneyaholic - you got me really crunching the numbers now! Seems you're probably right. Even though Disney charges taxes through their advanced web site purchases, its actually only $4 more (for 2 adults and 2 child 5 day hoppers) to buy through Disney's website than ticketmania. Ticketmania is offering free shipping now, and I think Disney charges a $3.00 shipping fee. Here's the numbers I crunched:

(2) 5 Day Park Hopper Adult @ 230/ea = $460.00
(2) 5 Day Park Hopper Child @ 182/ea = $364.00
Free shipping + no tax = $ 0.00

DISNEY WEBSITE $

(2) 5 Day Park Hopper Child @ 172/ea = $344.00

So there you have it - $7.58 more to buy direct from Disney for 4 tickets. I guess if you were buying a LOT of tickets or hopping between Orlando Parks then ticketmania and other discounters might benefit you more financially.

We have used ticketmania for the last 4 years for park tickets & dinner show tickets. They have always been deliverd within 7 days. Also, their media pack at $9.95 is a bargain. Everything you ever wanted to know about Orlando's attractions. Maps, coupons, brochures etc. We get it every year. Kids love looking at everything.
