My AAA agent said that insurance is 44.00 per adult so it would be 88.00 added to my pkg I got thru them. She said it only covers cancellation in case theres a death in the family, your sick or something to that nature and you have to cancel at the last minute. I have to be paid in full 45 days before I go on my trip. Is 88.00 worth it? I don't know what AAA cancel policy is if you book through them. What do you all think??

I would get in writing what it covers, most do not cover illness's but things
more life or death.
I could be wrong , but doublecheck and if you think you might have a problem by all means get it.

when they say it covers illness they dont mean a cold you have to be dieing and have a doctors note to prove it . we went through this a few years ago not in disney but on a trip to jaimaica we could not get our money back but they did let us pospone the trip for up to a year for a small fee. :charac2:

I would personally never pay for the insurance. If you every actually needed to collect the insurance they would make it very difficult for you to collect. Basically it's a way for the travel agent or agency to make extra $$. Rental Car companies do the same kind of thing. If it gives you peace of mind and you can afford it then do it, but believe me when I tell you that AAA will find some excuse to not pay up if you ever had to actually collect it.

You're absolutely right about this. Most of the profit for the insurance sales go directly to the travel agency/agent. That, in my opinion, is why they push so hard for you to get it.
