My daughter bought a 1 day single park ticket today and she chose the email delivery option (bar coded document). Having never used them before, is this considered as a Will Call ticket ? and if so can she pick up a Disney Resort Ticket counter ? and will be in the form of a regular ticket or can it be added to a magicband (that already has several Hopper tickets on it) ? Thanks

I believe it will need to either be exchanged at Guest Relations for an RFID card or added beforehand to a MB. But I'm not sure what will happen if it is added to a MB with other tickets already on it. I'm not sure which would get used first when scanned.

The sheet with the barcode won't get you into the park.

1. Yes, if she want's a plastic RFID ticket.
2. Yes.
3. If that's what she wants.
4. Yes. Add the ticket number to her MDE account.
If she adds it to her MDE account, it will automatically be accessible via any MagicBand
that she might have.
No "will call" will be necessary if she add the ticket number to her MDE account.

Why did she buy a single-day ticket if she already had tickets in her MDE account?

If she assigned it to herself it should be in her MDE already and no need to do anything else if you have a magic band. If it's not showing up, there's a ticket number/confirmation number and use the link ticket option to add and assign it to her..

Also, i'm a little confused about the multiple tickets.. it would have been cheaper to upgrade one of them to 2 days then but another one (assuming 2 days works in how she plans to go to disney)

My daughter won 4 x 1 Day Hopper passes in a competition. She has already successfully loaded these 4 tickets onto her My Disney Account. When she travels down to WDWD in December she will be checking into the Saratoga Springs but will need one more day ticket (not hopper). She has ordered the Magic band and she knows the 4 x 1 day Hoppers will be loaded . The 1 Day Regular ticket (purchased online) is just a bar coded document that does not say if it can be added to the Magic band. She wasn't sure if the Magic band was "smart" enough to determine what day of her 5 day stay the 1 Day ticket would be used (ie:The 1 day ticket would be used on the last day of her 5 day stay.). Thanks for your help guys.

Hope she has a great trip!

Well, she is using the 4 separate tickets because....thats the prize that she won. So there is no dollar savings there. As mentioned these tickets are not an issue because they have been successfully loaded onto her MY Disney account (and now on the MagicBand). The issue is, is it even possible to buy a single day ,one park ticket and add it to the account/Magic Band ? If ,for example, she goes the first day of her arrival to Epcot and she also intends to use the purchased single day, single park ticket on the last day at Epcot.......how does the Magic Band distinguish between the two (ie: not use the single day pass on the first day....and therefore not be able to hop)

If I were her, if the order that the tickets are used is important, I'd take the e-mailed paper "ticket" to Guest Relations and exchange it for a plastic RFID ticket. Assuming that she wants to use FP+ with the one day ticket, beforehand I'd create a separate MDE account, with a different e-mail address, on-line and add that ticket to it for the purposes of planning the day.

No need to go to that extreme.
In her existing MDE, she can just add another "fake name" in the MDE account and put that ticket under that name.
(If there is already another person in her MDE account who will not be going on this particular trip, she could just transfer this ticket into that person's account.)

FP+ can be booked and the ticket can still be used by her.
And, that ticket won't accidentally be used until she is ready to do so by her transferring that
ticket (along with its FP+) back into her own name on the day that she wants to use it.
