Is this what is called a 'Splash Pool'?

Hi everyone. We are currently looking for a place to stay for our 2 week trip for March 09. We really want either a hot tub or a whirpool tub. We don't really care about a pool. We are considering a townhome in the Encantada Resort which I have NO IDEA where that is and can't find it anywhere on the villa location maps that I have. Then again, my eyes are beginning to cross from wading through all the offers, so I may very well be looking right at it and not seeing it? Can anyone tell me what area it is in?

It states it has a 'private hot tub' and a 'private pool', but the picture looks like a combo kind of thing? It is VRBO # 155738. Can anyone who has stayed there or just knows from the pictures tell me exactly what it is I am looking at? Are there seats that you can sit down on or is it a stand and let the jets hit you kind of thing? Thanks to anyone who can shed some light.

Encantada is along the 192 almost as far as Highway 27 - only had a look round it once last year. As far as I know the splash pools are little mini pools with jets - I think heating will be at an extra cost but each owner may be different. (Just checked the ad on vrbo and they charge $15 per night for pool heating). It is one of the newer resorts that is sometimes not on the villa area maps that are about - we found the same thing with Coral Cay as they are both very new resorts.

Encantada is sort of in the Formosa Gardens area ( a little west of it). There's a road off 192 that leads down to it: Secret Lake Rd. which isn't shown on this map. Just go to the bottom right corner and scroll through the names to find Encantada and it will zoom the map in: http://www.thedibb.co.uk/villa-map.php
You can also go to maps.google.com and put in Secret Lake Road Kissimmee Florida and it will come up. If you click on the satellite map you'll see an aerial view.
I don't know about the pools at Encantada but at the Windsor Hills townhouses the splash pools are 12 foot square and there is a ledge that runs along one side for sitting. I don't know if they all have jets but some do and you can heat them up to 100F.

Hi, the end houses tend to have 20 ft x 10 ft pools and the inner houses have 10ft x 10 ft splash pools. There are 2 large communal pools. One has zero enty and a Spa. Hope you enjoy your vacation.
