I went to Disney.com and priced a package for me, my husband and two girls ages 12 and 3 to stay in a standard room at the All Star Sports, with a five day base ticket with the water parks and the basic dining plan and it came out to 2828.18. :scared1: Then I repriced it again without the dining package and it came out to 1836.50 Is this the price I can expect to pay with the free dining promo? The dates were September 20th throught the 28th.

dining is $39/day for 10 and up and $10/day for 3-9. Isn't that about $650 for 5 days? I don't know for sure, but from what i remember reading/hearing,, free dining next year wasn't being offered to value resort guests, you have to stay at moderate or deluxe. But please, someone correct me if i'm wrong.

yup, the $1836.50 would be the price with free dining

the DDP cost is:
3 adults (10 & up) @ $38
1 child (3-9) @ $10
total $124 x 8 nights = $992 (actually, $.42 less cost i rounded :rolleyes1 )

btw, the values have been included in the free DDP promotion in the past.
hth :)

Whatever the total of the room and purchase of at least one day tickets )
we always get package with tickets for whole time we will be there.
Then next year with Basic DDP you will have to pay for the tips for the TS Restaurants
(they won't be included) Tip is included at CRT, Aloha Spirit (the ones that use 2 TS Credits).
We loved having FD last Year--It was so nice not to have to
worry about prices on the menu--just order whatever Entree' and dessert
you would enjoy. One CS Meal per day and one snack per day.

I hope that your wrong, but I really don't know. We got it in 2005 at Music.
If anyone else can elaborate on this that might know it would be helpful!!!!

We had the free dining plan last Sept and stayed at Pop. We have the free dining plan booked for this coming Sept (bounceback offer) at Pop.

In the past free dining has always been for all resorts. The bounceback offer for Sept. 2008 (offered to resort guests in Sept. 2007) is/was good at all resorts. But I have seen rumors here on the Dis that IF free dining is offered to the general public in 2008, it will be moderate and deluxe only. But I have no idea where that rumor came from or if it is reliable or not. Only time will tell.
