Is this unusual? Re: Undercover Tourist

We ordered tickets (8) for a family trip last night. The order was flagged for security reasons, uploaded a copy of the drivers license and called in and they are still telling me that the tickets will be emailed to us by the end of the day. I was expecting it to be a little more of instantaneous thing, was I thinking wrong?
 
That doesn't sound unusual...I had to do the drivers license, then someone has to take the time to process it, so I think your good. Enjoy your trip!
 

I've been told it could happen more if there is an address mismatch between the debit/credit card and the address the tickets are being sent to/address provided as where you live when doing e-mail. Can't say that's what happened here but I know people have reported it before.

I ordered 4 WDW tickets and had them mailed to me-no problems back in Feb a few weeks later I ordered 4 USO tickets (e-mail option on that one) and no problems there either.

It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens often enough that it's not weird. :)

Happens often when people have them delivered to work when CC address is for home.
