Is it true that crowds are really low the week after Thanksgiving?
My sister and I are going December 3rd and having low crowds sounds really nice, that way we can take our time and take in the Christmas atmosphere.

We have been there the past 3 years during that week, and yes.....crowds have been low. (Lowest T, W, Th) This is the first year since we have been going this week that it falls in December, so we'll se if it changes anything. I have read a lot of talk about this week lately on this and other Disney boards.......so maybe it won't be so empty ;-)
Have a great trip.....

DD's birthday is the 4th so we have almost always gone on her birthday. Crowds are pretty low, except on the weekend. Then they jump up some. But if you go during the week, it will be really nice.

This is good to hear. The day we're going on is a Wednesday:goodvibes

That's what we're hoping for. We booked a trip for November 29th through December 6th. I wanted to see the Holiday decorations and have lower crowds, and hope that we get both!

Are you kidding me!? It's VERY busy the week after Thanksgiving! Don't go!

:rolleyes1

;)

For the past few years I have ALWAYS gone the Sunday before or after my Birthday, which is Dec 4th. And crowds have always been low on the Sunday when I've gone. Especially after the last showing of Fantasmic. From 10pm to Midnight weve been able to walk right onto rides. Its great. Best time of year to go I say.
