I just read somewhere that there are no elevators at the Hojos!
Is this true? We are going to be away for 10 days and have some heavy luggage, and the thought of lugging that up flights of stairs is not really impressing me. Also at the end of a long day in DL, I don't want to come back and climb 4 flights of stairs just to get to my room!

Is this true?????

We stayed in the 4 story building at HoJo's in September and there was an elevator in that building that we used.

They also have 2 story buildings that I don't know about the elevator.

Dude, if they dont have elevators, they would get sued by the disability group... everything must be handicap accessible...

i cant think of a hotel without an elevator.

Well they do have groundfloor rooms...... so they wouldn't be sued. I believe the Ramada Maingate does not have elevators. I have actually stayed in a few little motels over the years that do not have them.

We stayed in the tallest building (I can't remeber how many floors in that building, but I'll guess around 9) and our room had a view of the Matterhorn. That building most definately has an elevator. :thumbsup2

HoJo has elevators in Bldgs. 1 and 2. Bldgs 3-6 are two-story buildings, with no elevators.

Hope this helps.

The main buildings do. I know that at one time the elevator was broken for a day or so.

We usually stay at HoJo's and a couple of times we've been in a bldg without an elevator - these buildlings are actually our favorites! Larger rooms (it seems), so light and airy if you get a top floor. One time I was without DH and had the three kids - two in strollers. I just took advantage of their great bell service. They are so helpful, kind - they bent over backwards to help this temporary single parent.

They even packed my car for me. Talk about going beyond what is expected! I didn't ask them to, they saw me trying to do and corral the kids and two of these lovely young men just walked over and did it for me. Yes, they got a very nice tip and my loyalty to that hotel.
