is this true? custom brides get an annual pass?

i read on another online forum that wdw custom brides receive annual passes as gifts from ftw, is this true?

We received two AP vouchers when we got a copy of our executed contract. But as with everything, Disney could change the policy at any moment.

We received two annual pass vouchers as well. It's not a guaranteed part of the contract, so Disney could end it whenever they choose. I would just ask your SM about it to be sure. Look out, the AP's are addictive! We are now hooked on having AP's even though we have to buy them now.

the reason i ask, is we already have annual pass vouchers that we got for xmas gifts, we were going to activate the ap's in november during our final planning session & vacation at wdw. we have yet to sign the actual contract but have all our venues confirmed at the yacht club. if we get this double set from ftw can we cash them in or our current voucher gifts? any info on this?

Hey there.. I am not sure what you can do about the gifts you got, but the vouchers from Disney have "no cash value". Maybe there is something you can do with the gift vouchers ? If I thin of something I will let you know.

If that were me, I would give the gift vouchers to my parents b/c they live in South Florda and visit Disney once a month. Otherwise, I am not sure...

I’m not positive about this by any means, but don’t think that annual pass vouchers have an expiration date. In other words, I think you might be about to just hold on to the vouchers until your current AP’s expire, then use the vouchers to get new AP’s. I would call Disney to confirm that the vouchers wouldn’t expire, I’m honestly not sure if they do or not.

Ead79 is CORRECT!!! I just called Disney yesterday to ask them about the expiration of the wedding vouchers, and they DO NOT EXPIRE!

We didnt exchange our vouchers while we were there, b/c we werent sure exactly when we would be getting back down, and we would have only had one day to use them, with as busy as we were.

So I am sooo excited there is NO expiration!

Twojo21 - hang on to the wedding vouchers, and use the gift vouchers.

Are there any brides out there that have recently signed their contracts? I mailed mine in the last week of March and I'm waiting now for them to "process" it. Now I am on pins and needles of excitement about this neat possible surprise. I just wondered if any more recently signed up brides had received this really cool benefit...

an annual pass is a one year 365 day pass to the walt disney world themeparks. so you can park hop & vacation many times within the year. the annual pass also gives a room rate discount, a ap newsletter and you can purchase a dde card for 20% off some restaurants & 10% off some recreation at wdw.

supposidly custom wdw brides receive annual passes from ftw. which is very nice of them.

Annual Pass - is a yearly pass to the Disney Parks (Magic Kingdon, Epcot, MGM, Animal Kingdom, etc...)
