Is this too personal? Sharing about costs

Two adults (travelled in October 2005)

Air plane Brussels - California: 1545 EUR
Two 4-day park hoppers: $ 318
5 nights hotel across DL: $ 540
Shuttle: +/- $80 (I think)
Food: no idea
Souvenirs: way too much

We also spent days at San Francisco, Sacramento and LA, but I don't think you want to know those prices, do you? I don't want to, otherwise, I don't think I'll go back in a couple of months!

8 day Disney park hopper pass for 4, 1 day Seaworld passes for 4, Any money-saving tips greatly appreciated!!

wow! 8 days at disneyland?? thats a looong time!! lol and only one day for sea world?? my suggestion and what i have done before, and also seems to be cheaper is go to sea world a couple of days and maybe the san diego zoo and wild animal park(these are absoultely great!) instead of the 8 day pass maybe get a 3 or 4 day pass to disney and spend some days elsewhere.. just a suggestion everyone has there own ideas :goodvibes:

Keeping in mind that Seaworld is very expensive.... Our passes were $200 for four of us for one day. Our lunch there for one meal was $60!! And that was burgers, fries, drinks and DS had a jello! (and it was yucky to boot!)
We got to Seaworld at 10am and were more then ready to leave at 5pm. I don't think you could do two days there. You would be totally bored.
I can't vouch for the zoo, we never went there. But it is an hour and a half drive, so you will want to maybe get a hotel in SanDiego for the night, so you don't have to do the drive 2 days.

I would have loved to have a few more days in DLand. In 5 days we still got to see all the shows, and do all the rides. (some rides we did 2x) But it would be nice to do things again, or take a more leisurely pace, maybe hit some nice sit down meals, tour the hotels etc..

You can never have to much time in Disneyland!!

Our trip - from the Uk is for two adults and three children that count as adults for cost purposes.

We are flying over, car hire, one week in Anaheim, one week in San Diego, 3 day park hopper passes, 14 day Universal and Seaworld passes, will also visit SD zoo, eat out every day.

Total including spending money approx. £8000 = $13,600.
