We are going to going to California in June. Plans are to fly into SNA go to DL for 3 days then to San Diego with a stop at the beach. Go to the zoo and SW then leave and go to Palm Springs to visit family for 4 days then back to SNA to fly out! Does this sound like too much?

We did something similar last summer - only for 6 days & we skipped DL.
Flew into SD, pick up car, drove to Palm Springs. Spent 2 days, on to Anaheim, did DTD, hockey stores, Angels game & the next day our local Calgary Vipers were playing close to Anaheim so we went to their game.
Down to SD for the last night & spent the day at SW.

So you should be fine with your times. Best you get a couple of relaxed days in Palm Springs. It'll be too hot for anything but the pool.:rotfl:

If you did not have a beach day or two, I would say it may be too much. The beach day(s) will give you a break.

Be careful about which days in June you plan to visit DLR. Some days are much better (or worse) than others. June is a tough month to choose days!
