Is this the right place to ask about travel dates?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to figure out when to plan my trip for.
Originally I wanted to go October- November (in other words- now) but I had no one to go with so I pushed it off. I visited two years ago, October, and it was perfect! The weather was beautiful and I loved the Halloween theme!
I still have no one to go with but am seriously considering going solo.
If I do end up deciding to go solo, when would be the best time to go? It seems too late to go in November, especially since planning the trip and counting down the days is so much fun! (Not that I ever make any dining reservations or use FP.) Oh, and I haven't told my boss I need to take off work yet!

December was really rainy last time I was there and that's no fun.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I go the week after Thanksgiving every year and I enjoy it a lot. So far the weather has been good most of the time. The last time I went in October it was HOT. And crowded with the F&W guests. I always travel solo, in fact I prefer it, and I always have a great time. In December, you get the Christmas decorations which I find beautiful. The resorts have wonderful decorations as well.

One thing about the weather is that you never know what you're going to get. Could be hotter than usual, colder than usual, and wetter than usual. I avoid the hotter summer months, but other than that, I don't let the weather impact my decision on when to go. For me, it's more about what's happening at WDW that helps me decide on when to go.

Thanks! I LOVED the F&W festival and we stayed for a week so Saturday was spent at the hotel. It was great and not too crowded at all!
I'm not afraid of the heat or the cold- I'm afraid of the rain! It's just no fun getting all wet, trying to find shelter. I figured November would still be ok but I think it's too late for that...

Thank you for the link! The graph is great and January could be awesome in terms of timing but I'm really worried about the weather. Might get really cold at night but mostly- I don't like rain!!!
