Hi we just received an email from WDW about a sale this fall at WDW. It had the moderate resorts at $74. and the value resorts at $49, and of course limited days and must be used prior to Dec. 04. Is this a special deal or did every one receive this email? Is this one of those so called "cards in the mail" from Disney? Thanks bjlc57

I got one, and considered using it for PO on a weekend instead my DVC points at OKW...but decided that moving in the middle of a trip just wasn't worth the hassle.

It sure is a good deal, though!

I got it this AM. Of course, they should probably cross-reference their databases, as we already have DVC ressies at BWV during this time period. Of course the cheap rates might entice us to extend our stay a couple of nights, but we're spoiled for deluxe these days, so Value and Moderate is not gonna cut it.

I read that this is also available for Deluxe, it wouldn't hurt to call and ask....now I don't know personally cause no one in Disney Marketing loves me...LOL

I got a post card! I was able to book promoion a Poly 10/29-10/31. The CM never asked for my PIN. She just said I see you are on our mail list. Do you want me to apply that PIN to this reservation? I said yes and that was it.

i got an email with a pin (first time ever!) and it didn't help me though...because they didn't have any standard wing at CR available with this plan. i already got azz discount for it though so i'm not complaining!

they had garden view and GF garden view available but since this is a quickly planned trip (budgeting) i don't want to spend the extra on the resort since the difference will pay for our hoppers.

We decided a few days ago that we were going to make a trip from October 18th-22nd. My wife called to ask about hotel availability. We haven't stayed in the Pop Century, so we thought we'd try that out. She was quoted the $49 rate, so we jumped on it.

So WDW here we come! It's been waaaaaaay too long.

Couldn't have said it better myself. You're being generous by saying only 37 threads!!! Too bad people can't READ before creating a new post everytime!!! IMHO.

Forgive me, I do NOT want to start a flame war. But for the life of me, I can't figure out why people would complain that this initial post was made. To me, it IS news that the resorts could be had for such a low rate. I for one appreciate bjlc57 taking the time to write the email to let us know about this.

I'm not exactly a power user of these boards, so I don't go hopping around from forum to forum to see if a post has already been made. If I post something in an incorrect area, then fine, by all means it should be moved -- but are the insults really necessary???

Jeez, folks. We get to talk about the most magical place on earth. Let's treat each other with respect!

I agree!!! When you complain with a reply it just brings the message back to the top again doesn't it? I have no problem hearing great news about saving money at WDW.
