I need a little help on a reservation question. This morning I made a reservation for the BCV within the 7 month window. I asked since it was within the 7 month window to use our few banked points first then our OKW points. I wanted to save our BCV points so that I could bank them later. I was told that the "system " does not do it that way and that since the reservation was at BCV it would take the banked points first then my BCV points and OKW points last. I thought that since the reservation was within the 7 month window I could choose which points I wanted to use. Am I mistaken? Thanks in advance for the help.

I hope you hung up and called back, because you should be able to use the points any way you wish within the 7 month window. They are YOUR points. I just did a very convoluted 7 month window booking using banked, borrowed and non-home resort points as well as one time use points. They had no trouble doing that so, they certainly can do what you wish as well.

We've heard this a number of times. It seems to be a gliche in the system. Just make a reservation with the BCV points then make the one you want, then cancel the one using the BCV points.

Just got off the phone with MS and you were 100% right. They were able to correct the reservation and use the OKW points since it was within the 7 month window. MS did share that this does happen sometimes and that it has to be entered into the system a certain way to ensure that it is done as the member wishes.Once again, thanks for the help.

you are right they can use any ones you want
