I am DESPERATELY looking for the new princess Sofia costume for my daughter who is turning 5 RIGHT during our Disney World trip and I just must get her birthday wish come true. I did not realize that the costumes are not available in the parks and I first found out it on some costumes review page few days ago and this turned to be true and confirmed by my friend who got back form Orlando yesterday. I am doomed. If you could let me know where I could still find Sofia's costume in size 5 or 6 I would really appreicate it! Thanks in advance for helping me to save my trip.

Sofia's costume has never been available at the parks and the ones through the Disneystore have sold out online and sell out quickly in store if available at all. I read that more costumes wont be available for a few months. Only other place to look is eBay or get a handmade one off Etsy.

Have you checked Etsy? There are lots of sellers there doing dresses. I thought I saw a Sofia one.



BTW - You may want to be more descriptive in your title(s) so someone else who's found a Sofia dress is more likely to notice this thread. I'm sure there are others in the same position.

Definitely do an Etsy search and have one made. Your daughter will be much more comfortable in a handmade one than an actual costume. She will be cooler as well. I am getting my 3 daughters princess dresses from Etsy seller madeformermaids. She has a couple different Sofia dresses.

log on to disneystore.com every morning as early as you can... like 6am. They dont restock EVERY day, but they restock every FEW days, and the new inventory shows up on line early AM. Thats how I got mine. Sold out for 3 days, logged on at 6am one day and got it!

I agree with a PP. A real dress / custom-fitted dress will be more comfortable. It won't be made from crappy, scratchy material either... Just something to keep in mind.

I was in search of a sofia dress as well. I check the disney store and online a million times. Then I spoke to a very helpful sales person at the store. She told me they get shipments every Tuesday and Saturday. She said to call the store when they open and ask if they had any in the shipment. If they had any they would hold it for 1 day. I finally got lucky last week and got my DD3 her much wanted sofia dress. Good luck!

Disney store at Florida Mall carried up to size 24 mths. We were looking for our 3 yo, but no luck. I know this doesn't help, but they had. Maybe I was there at the wrong time.

The Dallas Northpark Mall Diseny store had them last week, up to size 5/6 I think. I know that they are the only store in the Dallas area that got them, so they are busy selling fast, but you could call and check. The sales people are very, very nice there. Good luck!! Also, note that 5/6 is the largest size they had ever received, and that may be the biggest size it is available in right now.

I'm here in NY and the Disney stores are all telling me that the larger sizes will be available in May. People are selling them on Ebay and Amazon for $200+, which is ridiculous.
