Hi, all! We will be arriving to the Poly on a Saturday in October. My mom will be joining us in her own room on Monday. She will be arriving early that morning and plans to spend the day at the resort while my family heads to AK. We will meet up at the resort in the afternoon for some pool time.

Since her room is unlikely to be ready, I would like for her to have access to our room to relax until she can get into her room. How would I go about doing that? At another hotel, I would leave my key in an envelope at the front desk, but I obviously can't do that with a Magic Band. Any ideas?

Do you have an extra MB? If not, maybe order one from disneystore.com and add it to your MDE under your own name. It will be a clone of your MB and should open your resort room door. It will also have charging privileges (if you allow them on your MBs) and can access your tickets.

You can get a card at the desk that will open your room. Then do as you would normally do.
