Is this possible?

I would like to book a room (4 of us) at CSR under the FDDP for late august for now. When/if room only discounts come out I would like to book another under the same name (mine) so that we have room to spread out. Is it possible to book 2 rooms under the same name but with 2 different types of discounts?

BTW- I did the math and its cheaper to do all 4 under FDDP in one room + 1room at the room only discount- than to book 2 under FDDP in 1 room and the other 2 under FDDP in another room.
And Hubby put the kibosh on values this year. So thats def out...

any advice here would be great. TIA!!!!

At Disney World, you cannot book two rooms under the same lead person name, as it is looked upon as double booking.

You can book one room as FD and one as a room discount, but the lead person must be different on the other reservation.

We did this last year. I stayed solo and my neighbors, their roommates, and one child booked the room with free dining and I booked my room with a room only discount. We stayed at POR and in order to get the mansions, their infant was under my reservation and they paid OOP for his meals. We linked our reservations and our only request was connecting rooms. We got it.

Unfortunately, in your case, you cannot book one person in both rooms; again for the reason you are double booking to try to get more discounts.

You would have to book three adults in one room for FD and the other room with one adult with no FD, but a room discount.
