I am heading to Disney World next week and I am wondering if I can achieve this. I am staying at the Port Orleans French Quarter and I am interested in having breakfast at the Kona Cafe in the Polynesian Hotel. My reservations are for 7:45 am. My ideal plan would be have breakfast then head over to Hollywood Studios that day. Do the buses even run that early to get me to Kona Cafe? Would I take a bus to Downtown Disney and then to the Poly? What about after breakfast. Would the quickest way to Hollywood Studios be to take the monorail to Epcot and walk or take the bus from the Poly to Hollywood Studios? Help!

Thanks!

Best bet may be to take a bus to MK from POFQ then the monorail to the Poly.
Ask at the front desk at POFQ what time the bus starts to MK.I know it is early becos we took it from POFQ for an 8:05am CP ADR.The other option would be a cab to the Poly.I don't know if anything runs that early or often to & from DTD.

If it's possible, a taxi would be the easiest way to get to the Kona Cafe for your breakfast. It would cost about $20 for up to 4 people. There will most likely be a taxi stand at your hotel with cars waiting.

If not, it's going to be more complicated. I don't believe DTD buses run that early since the Marketplace doesn't open until 9am. You would need to leave at least an hour before your ADR, which leaves you looking for a bus at 6:45am. There may possibly be a Character Breakfast or Early Entry bus running somewhere at that hour, but I wouldn't count on it.

If at all possible, just take the cab.

Getting to DHS will be much easier. Just finish your breakfast and walk on over to the bus stop. The DHS buses will be running by then and will get you where you need to go.

Taking the monorail to EPCOT wouldn't be efficient. The monorail drops you off at the front of Future World, but the walkway to DHS is in the World Showcase. You would need to wait at EPCOT until it opens at 9am, enter the park, walk all the way through it, and then walk another 30-45 minutes to DHS. It's not a short trip at all.

My suggestion would be to take the bus from your resort to the Magic Kingdom. Then get on the Resort Monorail at MK and take it to the Poly.

After breakfast you can just take the bus from the Poly to Hollywood Studios.

I know it is not your original plan, but if you can swing it, I would plan breakfast at the Poly for an MK day. Getting from the Poly to MK is a breeze.
