I was wondering if anyone has ordered something online and had it delivered to their resort. I was thinking about ordering a cheap ocillating fan from Walmart and wondered if the resort will accept it, if I put in their address. I need the noise from the fan to sleep well, usually we drive and bring our own but this time we will be flying and won't have any transportation of our own. Any suggestions? Obnly one week from today till we're in the world, can't wait! :hippie::cheer2::woohoo:Thanks Sheila

I read on the budget board that resorts are charging a $5 fee for that now, but they will do it.

I always travel with a "white noise machine" for that same reason. It was not all that cheap, I bought it online from Brookstone, but it easily portable and does the job.

Good luck and have a great trip!

Last October, I had a package delivered to my resort from Ebay. They didn't charge anything, but again, that was last year. Still $5 isn't that bad. My package was waiting for me when I checked in.

I also use a white noise machine (both at home and while traveling). It's portable and packs pretty well. Has several settings - I like the "spring rain" one the best.

Mine wasn't super-expensive - about $25 at Target several years ago. I think the brand name is Homedics. Some white noise machines are really expensive, like the Brookstone one, but some are reasonably priced. I love mine!
