Is this possible for CRT? Need your help?

Do you think this is possible? We already booked in June to go to WDW this Oct. because of Free-meal deal. Well this week friends of ours are now going the same week also due to the free meal plan that came up again.
So heres the question. I was lucky and got a CRT for 8:05 am on one of our days. My friend has been trying and no luck getting CRT for that week. She is asking me if it is possible for them to go with us at our time and then wait to see if someone doesn't show up or could fit them in? Is this possible-because I thought that Disney CM told me that when we go to the park and because it is early that they will have our name on a list to get into park for CRT-B. But my friends thinks thats just something they tell you and that anyone with a ticket should be able to go in with us? I have never been to the park that early before what will happen and can my friend go in with us without having a PS for CRT? Thanks for your help

If it's anything like the Princess Breakfast at EPCOT, your name is on a list. When I was there in January, they were pretty particular about letting people in and at certain times.

We went to both CRT and CP when we were there the beginning of July. They had a special line for early breakfasts but no one asked for our reservation #, nor did they ask for anyone elses's.

It is one of those things that might work, and it might not.
We are rarely at a park at opening. It was some time last year we were there early to buy a pin.
We did not care about all the opening hoopla, and we noticed families (some with Princess daughters) ducking under the white rope. So we followed one family. (And snapped some a few good photos very easily since almost no one was around.)
I was surprised no one was around to stop them. There were CMs who saw what was happening but apparently did not care.
I would guess it depends on who is working and how controlling they are.
And there were not many going in. I suppose if hundreds tried to get it in would have been a different story.
We just wanted in and out quick and it worked for us.

They asked us for our reservation # and they had the party size on there. I doubt that it would work. These reservations are held by CC aren't they? So I doubt anyone would just not show. Maybe they can try calling once there for a cancellation. I think it would be disappointing if they have kids and try to do this and it doesn't work out. We had a PS at LeCellier last year and my Inlaws tried to go too and couldn't as our table was only for 3 not 6.

Just call and add her to your CRT ressie... That should insure her entry with you.. You already have a ressie so adding another person shouldnt be a problem..

I would call and ASK if you can add to your party. But I wouldn't bet on being able to do it because the breakfast is usually booked solid. I agree that it would be very disappointing to show up and not be able to get in. It would probably be better to keep calling for cancellations and hope that maybe your friend can get her own ressie.

I called today to add to the number of folks in our party for dinner one night (NOT at CRT) and they had to change our time because they didn't have a large enough table at the original time.

how many are in your party ? If its an odd number or for like 6 call and change number of people , worst case you could at least get your friends children in with your party if it isn't more then 1-2.

I would call to see if you could add them to your reservation. As for them getting in the park with out the ADR, it depends. As someone pointed out, Epcot is impossible. They ask for your name and look on their PS list. They did this once at MK, the other time it was early entry at MK, so no one asked us anything.

I do think it's unlikely that they would get in CRT with out a ADR. They would probably be wasting their time. No-shows loose a CC deposit and I bet very few people don't show up for this breakfast. Some people wait to plan their days based on what moring they were able to get CRT reservations. They could always try Crystal Palace. At least you could meet after your breakfasts.

When I was there in May I was supposed to be at City Hall by 8:15am for a 8:30am KTTK tour. I arrived a little early and went through the line where everyone had early PS to CP or CRT. When I got to the front the CM said I wasn't on his list. I told him I was there for KTTK and he said I was in the wrong line and told me to go down to the left to another CM who was standing at another turnstile talking to another CM. When I got down there that CM told me he was there just for the people taking the early morning Steamtrain Tour and to go back to where I had been When I got back to the first line the CM was busy with other people, but went ahead and called me up front where I told him what the second CM had said. He said well he couldn't let me in because I wasn't on his list. By that time, the other six people that was in the KTTK tour had arrived and overheard us. We round up being late for our KTTK tour while we waited for the CM to call someone on his walkie talkie to get our names, before he would finally let us in. He wasn't the least bit apologetic about it either, saying it was no big deal as we were all together and the tour guide couldn't leave without us. Anyway they were definitely checking names that day and no one was getting in if you weren't on his list.
