I am going to Victoria and Alberts on 21st September at 6.15pm. I was thinking of going to the Grand Floridian early and having someone wash and put my hair up (its waist length) not have it cut just put up in some nice style is this possible?

Yes, there is a hair salon right in the main building where V&A is. It is called Ivy Trelis and it is open from 9am until 6 or 7 pm. Call the hotel directly and ask to be transferred to Ivy Trellis salon.

I don't see why not... Just make an appointment for a styling at the salon there. They should definitely be able to give you an updo for your special night!

I would call, and make sure you explain what you want. Not all stylists do long air in up dos, is that the right word.

also, ask them if they want your hair clean or dirty.

Sometimes updo's work better with "dirty" hair. And by that I mean, you washing it in in the morning and leaving it alone.

I wouldn't recommend "dirty" hair to mean that you can go swimming all day, and then go for your updo
