I am taking DS to WDW for his 6th birthday. That is his birthday gift. His actual birthday is April 2nd and we will be @ WDW April 15-19. Is it ok to get him a 'birthday' pin @ the parks, tell the CMs we are there celebrating his b-day, etc.? I didn't know if it had to be the exact day in order to mention those things.... Just looking for a little pixie dust to make his b-day trip better than ever!!!!

@ WDW?

I had considered doing this exactly one month to the day before my daughter "actually" turns 3. Mostly because we are going for her bday but, not realizing that they make a big deal about bdays in WDW, I didn't make it a point to make our trip during her the exact date of her bday. I had toyed with us using Sept 26th (her bday is Oct 26th) as her bday, but I'm afraid that someone will say "so how old are you sweetie", and her say...."two" and me try to say "oh, she just doesn't realize yet" or something equally cheezy. I also am afraid my 4 year old will say "hey - it's not her birthday!" at the most inopportune moment!

) So we're makng Oct 7 Justin's special day to celebrate (2 wks before). I don't see anything wrong with it because of the school schedule we will probably never been in WDW on his actual b-day. I couldn't let his brother be the only one getting the extra special treatment especially when Justin's birthday is so close.
